Precision7 Contact Lenses

Precision7 silicone hydrogel weekly lenses from Alcon

Precision7 is Alcon's newest contact lens family and brings a new category to the market: the one-week replacement lens. You wear the lenses for 7 days and then switch to a fresh pair, combining the freshness of daily lenses with the convenience and value of monthly lenses.

Precision7 is made of serafilcon A silicone hydrogel with a water content of 55%. The material's high oxygen permeability gives the cornea a generous supply of oxygen, helping to keep your eyes healthy during longer wear.

ACTIV-FLO System – moisture every day of the week

The key to Precision7 is Alcon's ACTIV-FLO System. A water-loving moisturising agent built into the lens material keeps the surface wet, while a second ingredient is released gradually during wear, so hydration is still there on day seven. According to the manufacturer, the lens provides comfortable wear and clear vision for up to 16 hours a day.

Benefits of weekly contact lenses

A fresh lens every week – less time for deposits to build up than with a monthly lens
More convenient than daily lenses: no need to open a new pair every morning
Good value: one box of 12 lasts 6 weeks for both eyes
Less waste than daily disposable lenses

Precision7 lens types

Spherical Precision7 corrects short- and long-sightedness, from +8.00 to -12.00 dioptres.

Precision7 for Astigmatism is a toric lens for eyes with astigmatism. Alcon's PRECISION BALANCE 8|4 design keeps the lens stable, so vision stays sharp as you blink and move your eyes. Both lenses are available in boxes of 12, as a discounted 24-lens bundle and as a trial lens.
