What is Ocutears® Alo+ and what problems can it be used for?

Ocutears® Alo+, whose main ingredients are cross-linked hyaluronic acid (0.2%) and Aloe vera (0.1%), is used to treat the symptoms of dry eye and discomfort in the eye and to protect the cornea.

The cross-linked hyaluronic acid provides the product with high moisturising properties and a high viscoelasticity for a long-lasting ocular surface presence, which allows the product to provide long-lasting relief of dry eye symptoms.

Aloe vera is known for its moisturising, decongestant and lubricating properties, which enhance the moisturising effect of the eye drop, making vision more comfortable and prolonging the feeling of freshness. Aloe Vera has also been shown to be useful in cases of redness or particularly sensitive eyes due to its strong moisturising and long-lasting protective properties.

Ocutears® Alo+ is indicated in the following cases:

• relieve symptoms of dry eyes, irritation and redness caused by environmental factors or medication
• to lubricate the eyes and improve comfort when wearing contact lenses

Ocutears® Alo+ is useful during and after:

• exposed to prolonged sunlight;
• use of air conditioning;
• prolonged use of digital screens (monitor, telephone);

Ocutears® Alo+ can relieve uncomfortable eye discomfort after eye surgery.

How should I use Ocutears® Alo+?

Drip 1-2 drops into your eyes once or several times a day, or as often as your doctor/pharmacist recommends. Wash your hands before opening the bottle and take care of hygiene during use.

Bottle:

1. Before first use, remove the bowl cap by pulling it completely
2. Before removing the bottle, gently squeeze the bottle and drop 1 drop into the eye.
3. Close the bottle tightly after use

Single-dose tank:

1. Tear off one of the set of single-dose containers.
2. Open the container by turning the cap.
3. Gently squeeze the container and drop 1 drop into the eye.
4. Discard any product left in the container after use.

Warnings:

• Do not use this product if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of its ingredients.
• If you have a severe corneal disease, consult your doctor before use.
• Use the bottle within 90 days of opening; the single-dose container should be used immediately after opening and discarded after use.
• Do not use the product beyond the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
• Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged.
• Keep away from heat, sunlight, moisture and children.
  Do not swallow the liquid.
• Ensure that the tip of the dropper does not come into contact with the eyes.
• Store below 25 °C. Do not freeze.

The ingredients of Ocutears® Alo+:

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid 0.2%, Aloe vera gel 0.1%, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, boric acid, sodium chloride, water for injection.

Dosages:
10 ml bottle (multidose, preservative-free), 0.35 ml x 15 single-dose containers, 0.35 ml x 5 single-dose containers (free sample)
