SOLO-care Aqua is an all-in-one multipurpose contact lens solution that cleans, rinses, disinfects, stores and moisturises all types of soft contact lenses in a single step. The HydroLock® effect uses carefully selected ingredients to maintain lens hydration, ensuring comfortable wear throughout the day. The included silver-impregnated MicroBlock® lens case offers clinically proven protection against microbial contamination, supporting safe and hygienic lens care day after day.

Instructions for use

1. Wash hands: Wash and dry your hands thoroughly with a clean towel.


2. Rub: Place the lens in the palm of your hand, apply at least 3 drops of SOLO-care Aqua and gently rub both sides in a circular motion for at least 10 seconds.


3. Rinse: Rinse the lens thoroughly with SOLO-care Aqua while continuing to rub it between your thumb and forefinger for at least 10 seconds.


4. Soak: Place the lens in the case, fill with fresh SOLO-care Aqua solution and soak for at least 4 hours. The lens can then be placed directly onto the eye.


5. Rinse the case: After use, empty the case, rinse with fresh SOLO-care Aqua solution and leave open to dry until next use.

If your lenses have been stored in the same solution for more than 30 days, discard the solution, repeat the rubbing and rinsing steps and disinfect again in fresh SOLO-care Aqua for at least 4 hours before use.

Composition

Polyhexanide (PHMB) 0.0001%, dexpanthenol, sorbitol, sodium phosphate, tromethamine, poloxamer 407, disodium edetate.

Contraindications

• Do not use if you have a known sensitivity to any ingredient in this solution, or to silver or other metals.


• Do not use for heat disinfection.

Warnings and precautions

• Always use fresh solution; never reuse solution already in the case.


• Do not mix, dilute or transfer to another bottle.


• Do not touch the tip of the bottle to any surface to avoid contamination.


• Never expose lenses to non-sterile liquids (including tap water or saliva) – this may cause serious eye injury.


• Use a new MicroBlock® case with each new bottle of solution.


• Store below 25 °C. Do not use after the expiry date.


• Consult your contact lens practitioner before switching solutions.


• Keep out of reach of children.

Side effects

If persistent discomfort or irritation occurs after use, remove your lenses and consult your eye care professional.

Note on the MicroBlock® case

The MicroBlock® antibacterial lens case may discolour slightly over time – this does not affect its antibacterial performance.
